One exchange, one order book

Prices differ slightly from one exchange to another, and so does volume. If you trade on Coinbase, the figures that matter to you are the ones from its own book: the last price you would see there, and how much actually traded there. This page ranks US-dollar markets on Coinbase Exchange using only that data.

The percentage change is the same as on the main top crypto gainers and top crypto losers pages. What changes is the volume: here it counts Coinbase alone, so an asset that clears the $1,000,000 floor only when Kraken’s volume is added drops out of this view.

Which markets are ranked

  • Quoted in US dollars. Pairs against euros, pounds, bitcoin or stablecoins are not ranked, so each asset appears once.
  • Status “online” and open for trading. Delisted, cancel-only, auction-mode and trading-disabled markets are skipped.
  • With a valid last price and a price from 24 hours earlier. A market listed within the last day may have neither.
  • Not a stablecoin.

Volume is the 24-hour amount in units of the asset multiplied by the last price. “vs 30d avg” divides that 24-hour amount by one thirtieth of the 30-day volume the exchange reports. For the same ranking measured on the other venue, see Kraken movers.

Questions and answers

Which Coinbase markets are included?

US-dollar markets on Coinbase Exchange whose status is online and that are open for trading. Markets that are delisted, cancel-only, in auction mode or with trading disabled are skipped.

How does this differ from the main gainers page?

The percentage change is the same, since both use the Coinbase Exchange rolling 24-hour window. Here the volume column and the volume floor count Coinbase volume alone, without adding Kraken.

Is this page affiliated with Coinbase?

No. It reads the exchange’s public market-data API and is not endorsed by or connected to Coinbase.
